I am an award-winning creative marketing professional with over 15 years of experience, marketing everything from medical care, to horror movies, to Broadway shows to renewable energy. I like to consider myself a problem-solver forth and foremost and able to find the aha! moment in every project. I have been a coffee-getter, a cinematographer, an editor, a media planner, a programmer, a website designer, a director, an animator, a creative director, a layout artist, an audio engineer, an assistant director, a production assistant, a photographer, a calmer, a comedian, a phone answerer, but most importantly, I am a guy who gets the job done. Anyone who knows me, knows I am great leading a team, great being part of a team and great running solo, but deadlines will never be missed and the product will be of the highest quality.
Now that you know what I'm like in the office, here's some bullets on what I'm like out of the office.
- I had a serious heart surgery when I was 26 that put me in the hospital for over a week. I'm doing great now, but it has instilled in me the sentiment to appreciate every day.
- I have been trained in Aikido by Steven Seagal - no joke. We shared a fire after training one day and he wrote "hate" on a piece of paper. He threw the paper into the fire and said "Now, there is no hate". I'm still trying to figure it out.
- I am a life long Mets fan. I have not cried since Seagal placed me in a wrist lock, but if they win the championship again, I will cry.
- I recently finished a novel. You can see the Amazon listing here: http://amzn.to/2eU5VX2
- I almost died while shark cage diving. Sadly, this is not an exaggeration. We should have realized we were in danger when viewing the boat's website. The shark images were clip art from 1997.
- My first film at NYU starred Bryce Dallas Howard. My last film at NYU was executive produced by DA Pennebaker.
- After 35 years living in New York, I relocated to Miami to join my fiance who is conducting her medical residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
